Cycling and Sport
Bra is not only famous for its art, culture or wine and gastronomy, but it is also one of the main sport centers in the province of Cuneo thanks to the high-level sport facilities in the area. Bike lovers can enjoy a 15 Km long bike lane. The town is also famous for its field hockey teams (Hockey Club Bra and HF Lorenzoni CRB), that play in the major league and won the championship many times. The athletes train in the sport complex “Parco Atleti Azzurri”, located near the Sanctuary Madonna dei Fiori, that also hosts the soccer field and the track-and-field tracks. Tennis is also very important for the town of Bra. The Palasport in Viale Risorgimento hosted in the past the Italian Championship of second category and the finals of the Italian Team Championship.
