Visiting the city of Bra during the autumn could be a good idea: multi-coloured leaves give a different and charming light to the town and warm temperatures assure pleasant walks around the historical streets where you can taste some of the most traditional local dishes drinking a glass of wine from the prestigious Langhe hills.
If you are planning to visit this peculiar little town in the Langhe and Roero territory during the month of October, you will be pleased to know that also many events are waiting for you.
For all the art and history lovers, the city hall of Bra proposes two interesting exhibitions.

best expression in comic strips, advertisement and colourful painting series that aim to exhibit the

different artists, walking through some of the most fascinating and historical rooms of Palazzo
Mathis. The exhibition is free and opened from Thursday to Sunday: in the morning, from 9 to
12.30, and in the afternoon, from 15 to 18.
The second exhibition is a documentary called “History, territory and organization at La Thuile in
the Aosta Valley”. The documentary showcases an archeological site of an ancient medieval village
in the Aosta Valley where researchers found some original utensils used in the traditional
production of cheese in that epoch. The exhibition will be opened from the 15 th of October and the
entrance is free.
For all the curious people and nature lovers on the 15th of October it will be possible to take part into a day trip to the “Orrido di Chianocco” a nature reserve in the Val di Susa. In this reserve it will be possible to observe as well the homonymous ravine: a 10 meter wide and 50 meter deep canyon that has been dug by the torrent Prebèc in the carbonate rocks characterizing this section of the Valle Susa and a small section of the overhanging valley.
